In famous/infamous naturist Stephen Gough was forced to go undercover today at Perth Sheriff Court. The naturist, who the press has been dubbed ‘The Naked Rambler’, was arrested after he was found walking nude through the Fair City’s Edinburgh Road late last week. However in court the ex-marine, who has previously served prison sentences for exposing himself in public, refused to cover up when he was due to appear before Sheriff Michael Fletcher in the Tay Street dock. After Gough’s agent William Somerville grew exasperated at Gough’s lack of co-operation and washed his hands of the case an intermediate date was set for July 2 and a trial on July 16.
Is this guy really doing himself and or any other naturists any favours -however it is a little strange that no-one from the naked bike ride events had any hassle from any of the authorities that I know about ...
Obviously a single naked man if far more of a problem than 50 or naked men and women riding bikes through our streets ......
